Furniture manufacturer Whitemeadow has reported a growth in sales as UK turnover surpasses £50m.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019, total sales rose 1.1% to £52.8m from £52.2m in 2018.
UK sales increased 2.2% to £50.5m from £49.4m, while EU sales dipped xxxxx% from £2.7m to £2.3m.
Gross profit reduced from £16.5m to £15.7m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £3.3m, down by 17% compared to its profit of £4m recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said that the business continued to perform well in what has been another year of difficult and uncertain market conditions. This was added to by rising costs through falling sterling prices and labour.
