Street furniture firm looks to capitalise on demand

Newcastle-based street furniture firm Broxap has invested in a new timber workshop and has launched a recruitment drive.

The business plans to expand its workforce by 15 staff in positions including sales lead developer, bench joiner, product draughtsperson/engineering checker, quality inspector, and software developer.

The staff expansion follows its recent £80,000 investment in a new timber workshop at its Rowhurst Industrial Estate headquarters, in Chesterton.

The company said that the recruitment drive is also in reaction to meet increased demand as the business continues to deliver growth.
