Spanish fashion retailer to bring debut homewares collection to UK

Spanish fashion retailer Mango will launch its first homeware collection this April in order to complete the lifestyle of its customers.

Mediterranean lifestyle and culture are the main sources of inspiration of this project, which is based on the firm’s DNA.

The collection will focus on textile products for different rooms:the bedroom, the living room and the bathroom, to which products for the kitchen and dining room will be added from the autumn/winter 2021 season. For the launch, it will include bed linen, duvet covers, cushions, blankets, towels and bathrobes, as well as candles and mikados.

The aesthetic of this initial collection is based on clean and refined Mediterranean style, with a contemporary design that combines neutral colours. Quality and attention to detail are the two key elements of each product.

In addition, the entire line of textile products will be sustainable and 80% of the items will be produced locally, thus reinforcing Mango’s commitment to sustainability.

Toni Ruiz, Mango CEO, said: Our customers are asking us for products for their homes. They want the same comfort and style they look for in clothes to decorate the rooms of their homes.  This is an ambitious project we are excited to be developing and which has involved many of the professionals that form part of Mango.

Jan Rivera, Mango’s Chief Creative Officer Mango, added:Mango is a brand with a Mediterranean spirit that aims to share its vision and lifestyle with its customers. This new collection has been a natural evolution for us, and one that is also aligned with our sustainability goals.
