Independent soft furnishings business The Curtain Exchange has rebranded and relocated from West Yorkshire to North Yorkshire.
The company has changed its name to Fully Woven and has moved to York, which officially opened at the end of October.
Susie Brown, founder of The Curtain Exchange – now Fully Woven, decided to relocate from Boston Spa after contemplating the idea to move back to her home city for some time.
The new store, which features bespoke curtains, blinds, upholstery and headboards, is situated on Bishopgate Street.
The rebrand was due to Susie expanding from just curtains to now upholstery and other interior furnishings. Fully Woven stocks known brands including Designers Guild, Colefax and Fowler, Jane Churchill and Ian Mankin.
Furthermore, the new store also stocks unbranded – and unique – fabrics direct from the mills and prides itself on offering a hand-stitched bespoke service too.
This has been very popular in the current market due to consumers looking to improve their homes following the lockdowns caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Folly Woven also offers a home-based appointment interior design service, with one slot per day available.
