Bespoke kitchen manufacturer Tom Howley has reported an increase in sales as profit doubled.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 April 2020, total sales rose 4.4% to £27.9m from £26.7m in 2019.
Gross profit increased from £10.5m to £11.7m, while pre-tax profit surged to £2.6m, rising from £1.3m recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said that despite the pandemic, it grew its outstanding order book to over £35m, which has continued to grow in the current year.
The business added that its 17th showroom, which was delayed in opening, is now fully operational.
