Online furniture and homewares retailer Amara Living has reported a growth in sales as turnover surpassed £20m.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2018, total sales rose 11.8% to £21.2m from £18.9m in 2017.
Gross profit increased to £3.7m from £3m, while pre-tax losses narrowed from £1.9m to a loss of £1.6m.
Stated within its report, the company said that it has continued to grow in both the UK and overseas markets with ‘encouraging results’.
The business added that post filing, during 2019, it had raised additional capital of £1.6m through the issuing of 64,309 shares.
