Mobility furniture group World Class Finance Limited, owners of Oak Tree Mobility and Middleton Mobility, has reported a growth in sales.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 26 August 2019, total sales rose 141% to £23.7m from £9.8m in 2018.
Gross profit increased from £5.2m to £7.7m, while pre-tax losses resulted at £801,000, up from a loss of £570,000.
Stated within its report, the group said that despite it being a transitional year as both Oak Tree and Middletons were fully integrated into the group following their respective acquisitions back in 2018, trading has been strong.
The group, which sells recliner chairs, adjustable beds and stair lifts, anticipates to achieve even stronger results moving forward following the implementation of its strategic plan, while also expecting to return to profit in the year ahead.
