Housing association demand leads to sales growth at kitchen firm

Kitchen furniture and flooring retailer Finsahome has reported a growth in sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019, total sales rose 4% to £2.6m from £2.5m in 2018.

Gross profit was up from £835,000 to £901,000, while pre-tax profit resulted at £171,000, just slightly down compared to its profit of £173,000 recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the business said that its Birkenhead branch experienced a larger increase in turnover due to the continued growth in sales to the housing association and development market.

“Healthy growth was achieved in all main market segments for both Birmingham and Birkenhead branches including local trade, independent distributors and large contractors,” the company added.
