Furniture retailer Sofabed Heaven has entered liquidation owing creditors over £200,000.
Stephen Katz, of David Rubin & Partners, was appointed as sole liquidator of EIS Stores Limited, trading as Sofabed Heaven, on 11 January 2021.
According to newly filed documents on Companies House, the business owed unsecured creditors a total of £129,000, with consumer claims reaching £70,000. Trade claims totalled £58,000.
The HMRC is owed £112,000. It is understood that no funds will be available for creditors, which are expected to suffer a shortfall of £202,000.
