This month companion companies, Blithfield, long-established fabric and wallpaper house – and Wicklewood, colorful, artisanal home decor company, has announced the launch of their first flagship store and showroom, ‘Number 13’, at 13 Stratford Road, London.
Following the success of several short term pop ups, this new flagship store and showroom will offer clients the opportunity to shop both brand’s full collections. The curated space will immerse clients in the vibrant brand worlds, as well as providing a platform to launch new collections, offer design advice and host virtual events.
Alongside Wicklewood’s online collection, the brand will debut a series of exciting new winter launches, including their first dinnerware collection; the At Home collection – two exciting collaborations with UK-based artists; and dynamic collaborations with Colombian accessories brand Mola Sasa and artist and furniture design duo Tess and Alfred Newall in early 2021.
Blithfield’s complete library of fabrics and wallpapers will be available to view, browse and order from the showroom, including the newly launched Somerset collection which is full of colourful new prints, weaves and embroidered designs.
Wicklewood are expanding their online design advice to launch a full design concierge, covering both brands, offering clients complimentary private appointments where dedicated consultants from each brand will walk through the collection and offer interior advice – from pairing prints to overhauling colour schemes.
Both brands look forward to welcoming loyal clients and new customers to Number 13.
Caroline Downing Nadel, co-founder of Wicklewood says: “This is a really exciting time for us – we’re delighted to be able to partner with Blithfield, to showcase our full collection and meet our wonderful customers.”
Liz Downing, co-founder of Blithfield added: “We’ve run a boutique showroom for many years now, and are really excited to be able to expand the space, as well as partnering with Wicklewood to offer what is really a full service approach to interior design.”
