Consistent sales at contract firm as investments continue

Contract furniture supplier Knightsbridge Furniture has maintained sales over £10m while continuing to invest in the company.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 June 2019, total sales resulted at £10.8m, in line with the previous year’s figure of also £10.8m.

Gross profit was slightly down to £4m from £4.4m, while its pre-tax profit of £47,000 recorded last year slipped to a loss of £180,000.

Stated within its report, the company said that the reduction in profit was due to increased investments in manufacturing improvements and its workforce.
