Bed retailer slims down board with two departures

Bed retailer Dreams has revealed that chief marketing director Tony Holdway and retail director Paul Owen will leave their respective roles at the business.

According to Retail Week and Retail Gazette, the move is to slim down the board from seven to five and is partly due to coronavirus pandemic.

It is understood that Tony will not be replaced with marketing director Simon Moore widening his role and will report directly to Dreams chief executive Mike Logue.

The departures also forms part of Dreams’ digital strategy as changes to the retail landscape moving towards digital grows.
