Bed business grows orders by 7% as sales remain strong

Bed manufacturer Savoir Beds has reported consistent sales as turnover remained over £11m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019, total sales resulted at £11.1m, on par with that of last year.

Gross profit was slightly down from £7.3m to £7.2m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £615,000, down 44% compared to its profit of £1.1m the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said order intake increased by 7%, while owned stores in the UK, EU and US all reported growth. Dealer performance was “disappointing”.

During the year, Savoir opened a new showroom in Singapore as well as two others in existing markets, which are expected to boost its dealer performance.
